Dachshund Puppies

We know dachshund puppies are likely not house-trained, chew everything in sight, and often display very curious puppy behavior. We pride ourselves in offering a regimented schedule for potty breaks- knowing full well this often requires outside potty breaks even 2-4 times per night and daily potty encouragement 10-12 times per day. In our experience, it takes an entire year to fully house-train a dachshund puppy. We reward for outside potty and will never punish for accidents indoors. Additionally, we will not take our eyes off of a puppy. There are too many harmful things they can swallow- pieces of toys, items from outdoors such as rocks, weeds, wood chips, and insects. Finally, we have puppy-proofed our home to ensure the ultimate safety experience while in our care.

Adult Dachshunds

We understand that adult dachshunds have unique physical, mental, and social needs that differ from those of puppies and seniors. Our care approach is built on years of hands-on experience with dachshunds and a deep understanding of the breed’s instincts, energy levels, and health considerations. Adult dachshunds thrive when they receive a balance of structured activity, mental enrichment, rest, social interaction, and individual attention. We carefully observe each guest’s personality, preferences, and comfort level to ensure their daily routine supports both their well-being and happiness. Every aspect of our program is designed with their needs in mind, providing a safe, engaging, and luxurious environment where they can truly thrive.

Senior Dachshunds

We recognize that senior dachshunds deserve thoughtful, specialized care tailored to their changing needs. Our senior guests enjoy soft treats for delicate teeth, additional potty breaks throughout the day and night, and personalized one-on-one time with caregivers to ensure they feel secure and loved. We are experienced in administering medications and supporting ongoing health needs. To promote mobility and reduce strain on aging joints and backs, we provide stairs for easy access to furniture and resting areas. Our turn down service is offered earlier each evening to ensure our aging dachshunds settle in for a comfortable night.
